WOSD Instructor. A new beginning. If you follow this WOSD Instructor Level 2 cross-over course, you are already a fully-fledged diving instructor with an active status with a recognized diving organization. You have already learned how to give theory lessons and practical lessons. Your diving skills will probably also be at demonstration level.

That is why the WOSD Instructor Level 2 Cross-over program is designed in such a way that we will only evaluate the parts that you should already know and that we emphasize the specific information about WOSD that every WOSD instructor candidate who follows a WOSD instructor course also receives. You must get to know the WOSD and know how your students can follow their courses. You must also know how to order (training) materials, how to register students and of course how to certify them.

Because a WOSD instructor work with the D-Learning program, you will also lear to work with this system.

Minimum requirements for attending the WOSD Instructor Level 2 cross-over course:
  • Minimum age: at least 18 years and of legal age in the country of training;
  • Demonstrable swimming ability (swimming certificate not required);
  • Approved medical examination (not older than 1 year);
  • Signed statement of understanding;
  • Signed WOSD license agreement;
  • At least 120 logged dives in the logbook (excluding training dives);
  • In possession of a recognised Scuba diver level 2 certification;
  • In possession of a recognised 'Underwater navigator' certification;
  • In possession of a recognised 'Night diver' certification;
  • In possession of a recognised 'Multi-level deep diver' certification;
  • In possession of a recognised 'Equipment specialist' certification;
  • In possession of a recognised First Aid, CPR and AED certification;
  • In possession of a recognised certification for administering medicinal oxygen;
  • In possession of a recognised 'Rescue diver' certification;
  • In possession of a recognised 'Scuba diving instructor level 2' certification in active status.

During the WOSD 'Instructor Level 2 cross-over' training (W_IL2C) you will learn how to prepare, conduct and certify WOSD primary courses and some WOSD continuing educations.

After successfully completing this D-Learning part of the WOSD Instructor Level 2 cross-over training, you can continue with the Instructor Training Course (ITC) part with your IAHD Instructor Trainer.
